Another well thought out, well-done piece. It is what happened after slavery, and what still is happening, that needs to be fixed or atoned for. I am not guilty of slavery so … but I probably have been guilty of prejudicial attitudes and such.

I was in seminary in south carolina, and the school held a repentance ceremony because for years it did not allow black students. Today it has black professors and a lot of black graduates.

Several churches did the same.

That was in the 90s, and i was pretty encouraged by some things happening then. We have gone backward since then. Im not in S.C. anymore so i dont know about today.
