Utah Trip
Day Three: Ready to Roll
Hitting the road today for a new adventure
This trip to Utah to see the national parks has been in the works for months. We are finally ready to roll.
Yesterday was just tying up loose ends and getting everything into the vehicle.
Had to replace a fuse in the truck. Also noticed a tire was low and had it checked out. There was a slow leak, so I was happy to have that fixed before we started.
She is very organized, so there is no last-minute panic.
We love traveling, and there are some interesting differences we have, that make it an adventure.
She has lists for her lists. Everything you could possibly need is in there, and more. I tend to be more minimalist when traveling. Camera, a few clothes, snacks, and I'm ready.
She wants a nice place to sleep, hence the camper. I'd be fine sleeping in the car.
I want to try out new places to eat and taste the local cuisine. She is happy picking up a slice of pizza at a gas station and calling that lunch.
It has been a couple of years since we took a long trip to a place we have not been to. It’s time to hit the road.
