Even in the 15th and 16th centuries, most people could not read, regardless of langauge. And only the very very rich could afford a book. Basically no person owned a book because of the expense

the idea of translation into english to make it available to the masses is misleading because of this fact

But i know, all christians are inherantly evil and have always been .. yada yada

btw... its very easy to look every single word in the bible -- EVERY SINGLE WORD - from 200 a.d. or even earlier and see how it has been translated over the centures in all kinds of langauges.

the idea that the bible was put together by evil people is just another baseless attack on christianity and has nothing to do with history.

You do a good job of looking at history through modern day lenses instead of trying to understand what was actually happening.
