The "defending the faith" thing is interesting. There is a difference between explaining and defending.

Our culture seems too hung up on having to have people agree.

You can explain your faith .. not that hard.

"proving" means so many things,.and is a bit subjective.

Who are they defending the faith from?

If your faith can be shaken by some atheist saying there is not god ... you need to do some studying and figure stuff out :)
