Great story

I recently retired after 30 years as a journalist. I can honestly say, I have fired reporters for bias, and they were not as biased as what is on CNN, Fox or any other national network.

I was a stickler for fairness and trying to not be biased, ,maybe i was fanatical :) BUt I can spot bias pretty quick.. certain words contain opinions..If you know the opinion of the reporter ... thats no longer news.

There is no news on the national level anymore.

The "book bans" are complete propaganda ... Any library has to choose books, those not chosen were not banned ...

The reports on the texas and florida abortion "ban" are absolute lies.. I was shocked when I read the actual bills that were passed.

The only place to get real news now is to do your own reporting ... read actual laws that were passed, read original documents ...

My first editor always asked me ..."why did this person give you this information" ... and i had to answer the question... I asked it every day since.
