I have written about this more than once. :)

It is the bias of Medium editors and the bias built into the algorhythm.

I wrote one story that was pretty negative about "the church" and it did well, made well over $100.

I did almost the same story, but with a more positive spin, and there were crickets. I don't think its made more than 50 cents in over a year.

Now there are some bad things out there, as some have noted, .. but there is also a bias against christianity ...and a narrative that puts all christians in that bad bunch.

There was one day I saw not one single story on the "christianity" page that was even remotely neutraL, let alone positive. I wrote to medium and complained. They said i was wrong. Ok . :)P
