I think too, I had been thinking about this subject for a while. Trying to put my finger on what it is about “P-C” that bothers me. I mean, im all for not being an asshole to people who are different, and accepting them. Still, there was something that didn’t feel right. Why are some groups ok to criticize and belittle (especially southern white men, christians, conservatives) but not others.. (race, sex, etc) I think that is my issue.

So maybe im projecting some of that on you. Your headline asked the question. :) Maybe your article focused it for me.. see your article was a success. :)

But the whole idea of PC has always kind of bugged me. People say offensive things all the time, not even meaning to. The intent should matter. But it can get pretty silly sometimes.

Conservatives need to get better at articulating what they think, but i think liberals need to be a little more tolerant.

The whole sex thing … men and women are different … is a good example.
