It has been done for a long time by both sides. They usually take a phrase out of context, which to me is just as bad as changng the wording.

Ive always thought it was interesting though, that President Obama actually quoted the bible more than most presidents, and did so more accurately.

I dont remember his "clinging to religion" thing ... but he was not saying the bible said that . and he was making a valid point.

It is good to point out when they get it wrong.
