I’ve been a journalist for 30 years. Ive seen a real dip in objectivity over that time.

Most journalist lean left so that is a consideration too. It’s true for me as well. I always enjoyed presenting as many sides as I could .. liberal and conservative that I covered generally liked me because I tried to present what they said without comment.

I think a huge problem is people no longer know the difference between news. Analysis. And opinion.

As a journalist I always felt if the reader knew my opinion the article failed. The opposite of that is the standard today.
