ive been around medium awhile and still have no idea why some get curated and some do not. Im surprised at time both ways. Ive also not seen it make a big difference in readership..

I see a lot of stories lately about new writers bemoaning their hardships.

we all had to pay our dues

i started out with maybe 3 followers and had stories with less than 10 reads.

getting to 100 followers is not that hard.

id like to encourage new writers, but ... i think they need to pay their dues like i did. :)
