Skynyrd had it on their albums and at their concerts. No one objected. No one called them racist.

Maybe some black folks thought it was, but at that time, most while folks had no idea it was racist.

I dont know why this is controversial. Its a verifiable fact. it is a racist symbol now, but then no one seemed to care about it. Why were black activists not raising hell back then?
