Some great points there. I was involved with charismatics for a time, some really good things and some really bad. It seems to me that the good and bad are more exaggerated with charismatics..

People do abuse the idea of the Spirit to justify all kinds of bad things. But the Spirit should be producing fruit - love,joy,peace etc, - instead of just stuff that makes us happy. Like the prosperity doctrine seems totally against what scripture actually says.

I think there is a second blessing, but for some people it happens the same time that they are saved. Its going from "I believe" to "I know"
