Technically the bible has been banned in schools. Teachers have gotten in trouble for having a bible on their person or desk at school, and GASP for telling students somethign the bible says.

Students have gotten expelled for carrying bibles, and wearing tshirts with bible verses on them.

The slightest mention of the bible, christianity, etc in school gets one in trouble

You cannot have a christmas tree -- pagan or not -- at your school.

But to me the whole banning thing is horse manure.

Every school and library must choose what books it has because there are bajilliolns of books and theres no school or library big enough to hold them all ...

so they have to pick out some

Those that disagree with the ones not chosen cry their pet book has been banned.

so if we are to say some books that were not chosen as curriculum is banning a book .. we must admit the bible has been banned moreso in schools.

Should writers who get rejected by publishers claim their writing has been banned? Heck yea. ! might help with sales.
