This is a great article. So many things considered.
I have never understood how life on other planets would even be relevant to faith. What difference would it make? I know both theists and atheists use the question to prove something but to me its not relevant.
I think the complexity as well as the rarity of having all the right conditions at the right time, is something that could make one think of a designer. That isn't my best argument for God though. :)
And as good as science is, there are things we still have not discovered. Things we have not imagined. I remember reading in a scientific piece from the 1700s that it would be impossible for a human to withstand going 50 miles per hour. What silly things do we think now that is based on science? what they will laugh at us about 200 years from now.
But i love this article. I agree science cannot prove or disprove God. Faith would not be as much fun or as rewarding if it were laid out in black and white like some formula… so i dont even want proof.
