THis is one case. Let me repeat that. This is ONE CASE. Only ONE case. It does not reflect on thousands of other cases, or even on other false reports.

The media is too hung up on making it more than that, and advocates on many sides try to make it into nothing more than a talking point. It is ONLY ONE case.

He did apparently lie. I have not heard any white people say this means we should not believe anyone

But it should not reflect on any other case.

As I said, and got in trouble for saying, women should have some evidence or proof if they want justice. Someone who has had a racial attack should too. Someone who has their wallet stolen should have proof it was stolen.

It is not that they are not believed, but no one should be punished if there is not some proof.

The foundation of American law is innocent until proven guilty. That is the bottom line regardless of the crime. Smolette has confessed, he has not been convicted yet…
